From seed to sale
Every batch runs through the same five stages. Patience pays: the longer a crock ferments, the better it sells.
- 1
Farm
Plant napa cabbage, chili peppers, garlic, scallions and more. Each crop has its own grow time and yield.
- 2
Craft
Combine ingredients into kimchi recipes. Rare combinations produce rare recipes worth more at market.
- 3
Ferment
Seal the batch and let it work in real time. Longer fermentation unlocks higher-quality kimchi and bigger rewards.
- 4
Earn
Sell finished kimchi to NPC restaurants and fill daily orders to earn $FERMENT.
- 5
Upgrade
Spend $FERMENT on bigger farms, better barrels, factories, and automated production lines.
Automated fermentation factories
Build a factory and it keeps producing kimchi while you’re away. Factories unlock rare recipes and let you scale far past what hand-sealed crocks can manage.
Each tier costs progressively more $FERMENT to unlock, so the biggest producers are also the biggest spenders.
Bar height shows relative unlock cost in $FERMENT.
Where upgrade spending goes
Every $FERMENT spent on upgrades is split three ways the moment it’s paid.
Burned permanently, removing it from supply.
Returned to the player reward pool that pays out for orders and sales.
Funds development, seasonal events, and the treasury.
The reward pool is capped and emissions are paced, so rewards are paid from a fixed budget topped up by player spending rather than minted without limit.
The flywheel
More players means more production. More production drives more upgrades. Upgrades burn $FERMENT and refill the reward pool, which gives the token more use and draws in more players.
